Content: Participants will learn a variety of support strategies for teaching and developing social skills for students with moderate to high functioning autism. Several specific support strategies will be discussed with an emphasis on principles of applied behavior analysis and evidence-based interventions.
Audience: Parents, special education teachers, teaching assistants, and related service providers
Presenters: Erica Vloeberghs, SBCSELPA Autism/Behavior Specialist and BCBA
Objectives: Learn specific interventions/strategies for addressing social deficits
Become knowledgeable of the differences between skill and performance deficits
Practice implementing presented support strategies

* Late registration will be subject to a $10 late fee payable at the door and will not guarantee seating or materials
* To avoid being required to pay at the door, please confirm that payment is received by SBCSELPA prior to the workshop

* Event related to speech-language pathology/audiology & meets the qualifications for continuing professional development hours for Speech-Language Pathologists as required by the CA Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
