Question submitted to sbSNAP: Child has outgrown disposable diapers, and we don't want to pay for pull ups if they are not as absorbant. Any suggestions?
We've had plenty of diaper issues over here. One solution that worked pretty well for us were doopsy diapers. They are re-usable diapers with a snap closure, adjustable sizing, easy to launder, tons of absorbency and they come in cute colors, probably perfect for a two year old. My son wears size 6 huggies and in the doopsy he still has extra snaps so as he grows they'll still fit. I never wanted to mess with cloth diapers, but resorted to trying these due to leaking problems with disposables, and have been amazed by how well they work. May be a less costly alternative to disposables. If you'd like to see them go to www.doopsy.com, or you can see them on youtube.
