Hello Everyone,
A few weeks ago, my sister gave me a copy of an Emergency Supply Checklist showing what you should have on hand in case of an emergency or disaster.  Well, as usual, I stuck it in a pile of other "to do" things and forgot about it.  Watching what's going on around the world today, with floods and earthquakes and other disasters, I realized how dumb I am to not have a bag of emergency supplies ready to go.  So, I found an old backpack and am busy putting my supplies together.  I thought this would be a good time to remind you all to make sure you're ready in case of an emergency too.
Below is a copy of the Emergency Supplies Checklist from the California Governor's Office, and an outline for emergency preparedness from the Red Cross website that you can print.
Let's all "Be Smart...Be Prepared...Be Responsible!"

Take Care,
Kitty
