Self-Advocates, Family Advocates and Service Providers:

Have a voice in the direction of community living: CA Dept. of Health and Human Services - Olmstead Advisory Committee seeks new members-

Olmstead Advisory Committee Stakeholders:

We are looking to appoint new Committee members to increase the Committee’s expertise in five areas:
•Transportation
•Housing
•Adult Day Health Centers
•Consumers
•Alzheimer's Disease
 
The Committee member would need to attend our three meetings annually here in Sacramento. Travel reimbursement is available. The application is attached and also available on our Committee website here.
 
Applications are due by Friday, March 20, 2015. Please share the application with your networks, and encourage someone to apply. Thank you.

Volunteer Opportunities

Donations of toy materials needed to the zoo animals in Santa Barbara.  Toys entertaining animals indoors ran out quickly due to the fire. Cardboard boxes, paper towel tubes and gently used/new towels are appreciated! Items can be dropped off in the donation box at the front gate. Monetary donations are also precious.
