Swim Lessons

 Wendy Fereday Swimming School

Children are a gift from God and it is our honor and privilege to have your children in our program...We believe that with patience and positive reinforcement, all children can learn to swim at an early age.

Wilson Swimming

We will begin the 2016 season of lessons in May. Sign-ups will begin April 1. Lessons will continue through October.

We generally start private lessons at age two to three. When your child is at least 6 years old and swimming independently, we offer two one week day camps at UCSB.

We do take children with special needs. Please be sure we are aware of any limitations your child may have. Our instructors can work more patiently and productively with your child when they know what the limitations are.

YMCA

The YMCA has been America's leading swim instructor for more than 100 years. But our aquatics programs extend beyond instruction. We also provide recreational, competitive and specialty aquatics programs for all ages and abilities, including parent-child classes, water exercise and therapy, water safety and rescue, and water sports. Programs and classes vary by location.

Volunteer Opportunities

Donations of toy materials needed to the zoo animals in Santa Barbara.  Toys entertaining animals indoors ran out quickly due to the fire. Cardboard boxes, paper towel tubes and gently used/new towels are appreciated! Items can be dropped off in the donation box at the front gate. Monetary donations are also precious. Call 805-962-5339 to find out more.
